The company is the only manufacturer in China that produces three series of locomotive products: steam, internal combustion engine and electric locomotive. As the largest steam locomotive R&D base in Asia, it has produced 5,571 steam locomotives of various types and is responsible for more than 75% of the passenger and freight traction tasks on the national railways.
